Lady Language Charity

We believe that everyone should give back to their community by giving time, money, or raising awareness of issues.  We all share the same responsibility of nurturing our world and supporting peaceful actions.  At Lady Language, we are committed to giving 5% of our net profits each month to charities that benefit women and children.

Current Programs

Fall/Winter 2007 - We are donating to worthy causes including America's Second Harvest, our local YMCA and distributing overstock clothing to Goodwill.

Through Summer 2007, we will give our donations to America’s Second Harvest, one of the largest food bank organizations in the US who provide food assistance to more than 25 million Americans each year. To read more about this organization, please visit their website at http://www.secondharvest.org.

We are also trying to help raise awareness about the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) to ensure that low-income children continue to receive nutritious meals and snacks when school is not in session.  Unfortunately, administrative and funding challenges prevent many potential SFSP sponsors from participating in the program.  As a result, although over 20 million children get free or reduced price school meals during the regular school year, only about two million children receive meals during the summer months.  Rural areas may find it especially daunting to participate in the SFSP due to the costs associated with moving food to SFSP sites.  To read more about this organization and urge Congress to help hungry children, visit the Hunger Action Center website at www.hungeractioncenter.org

Recent Events

March 2007 - Lady Language donated a gift certificate and Juliet Three Ring Bracelet to Studio Z in Madison WI for Stacy Sweeney's benefit.

Thank you for visiting and supporting our charitable cause. Please contact us if you need donations for your charitable event and we'll try to help.

We wish you and your family all the best.
